Challenges

Timely and accurate communication of product changes is crucial in today’s dynamic supply chain environment. Our client has a vast clientele, and they have to keep their clients informed when a product is nearing its end of life. They faced challenges in managing and disseminating product change notifications (PCNs) to their customers.

  • Manual processes: The process of creating and managing PCNs was largely manual, leading to inefficiencies and increased potential for errors.

To address these challenges, we developed a robust PCN application hosted on Azure Cloud. It is designed to empower sales, SPM/PM, and other PCN users with advanced capabilities for creating, searching, and managing PCNs and customer notification emails.

The PCN application leverages Azure Cloud to provide a scalable and secure environment for managing PCNs. It integrates seamlessly with Azure Data Hub and Salesforce through APIs to retrieve SAP data, facilitating efficient PCN processing.

Users can check pending email status, create PCN, search PCN, search customer status, search customer details, create email template, access exclusion master, check unsubscribe requests and access shipping history through this dashboard.
  • Integration with key systems: APIs to integrate with Azure Data Hub and Salesforce for real-time data retrieval from SAP.
  • Automated notifications: Efficient handling of customer notification emails, ensuring timely communication of product changes.
  • Email template feature: This feature helps users define the email body format and content using dynamic keywords, ensuring consistent and personalized communication with customers and suppliers.
